omg so lucky i had allready done photo's with duplicates before the rule was passed, didnt realise there was a rule for dups in the first place :D

Hi, Not to complicate things further but i am curious about the conditions of duplicating items and colour/size of the dulplicates. Do the duplicates of the item need to be the same size and colour?

i.e. i received a small orange crayon. Does that mean i can only use duplicates of small orange crayons? Or can there be varying colours and sizes?

Hi Nathaniel, that's right, the duplicates of the item don't need to be the same size and colour - you can use anything you like - just as long as the original object is somewhere in the image.

I notice that the upload date is incorrect

It read 1/01/0001. Plus i was having trouble uploading my photo in the first place. it took a few days of trying. I finally got my photo uploaded this morning.

This is my first time i've enter a photo competition.

QUESTION: How often is the gallery updated?

Hi Naomi, the gallery went live today and should refresh immediately after images are uploaded (as long as you refresh your browser).

I have uploaded 2 photos tonight, 15/10/08, but they have not gone to the gallery yet.

Re:Naomi's question...is there any sort of delay on the upload.

Hi Alan, your photos are most likely pending approval from Canon. I'd recommending checking back this afternoon.

Hi, I can't seem to find my entry in the main gallery unless I do a search for my entry. It has been up for about a week already and has still not made it into the main gallery. I tried again this morning but now the gallery doesn't even show up at all??? Any help would be great! Cheers :)

I have also uploaded some images which still have not appeared in the Gallery.  One I downloaded two days ago.  I have also noticed that the latest download date I could find in the gallery was 19/10.  Why are there no images after this date.  Thanks!

I uploaded my photo yesterday, but when I use the search feature the photo is not there

When I originally enquired it was a definitive NO duplication rule... Annoying... I really would have thought the 'organisers' would have thought this through... Too many cooks in the kitchen.
