THE INSPIRATION:
This year, Joanna was separated from her
partner while he was away completing his University studies. Upon his return,
the couple went on a romantic dinner to celebrate their reunion. As a romantic
low light filled the restaurant, the mood was perfect, inspiring Joanna to capture
the moment and keep the memory forever.

because of the intrigue it creates. Joanna has always been fascinated by the
way in which the light falls on subjects she is photographing, and believes it
can be the key factor which can make an ordinary photo something sensational.

When it comes to her photography skills,
Joanna sees herself as an inspired amateur. Although she is a full-time nurse,
she has a strong passion for taking photos and would love to give it all up to
pursue her interest more seriously one day. For her winning entry, Joanna is
