This cheeky photograph, ‘
A Brother’s Revenge’, by Peter Benning, won this month’s Judges Award for the latest
EOS 1Wall challenge. The shot was taken of the photographer’s son unleashing his revenge upon a poor Barbie doll – much to the horror of his sister.

Judge, Christopher Tovo commented “I chose this one as a finalist for really hitting the brief on the head. It’s a great example of having the camera ready and capturing spontaneity. The expressions and body language between them are fantastic”.
The People’s Choice Award was snapped up by Peter Neville Goldsmith for his photograph, ‘
That’s Melbourne’. Peter explained “I came out of the office to photograph the heavy rain when this chap ran across at the right moment.” A perfect example what happens when you’re in right place at the right time, and armed with your camera!

“Very impressed to see that even in torrential rain this photographer has a camera with them. A beautiful shot with a classic edge. Reminiscent of ‘the decisive moment’. It has an old school charm to it,” said Christopher.
This month’s brief attracted an array of amazing ‘spontaneous’ shots, so well done to everyone who entered! The standard was undeniably lifted this time around!
The finalists of the next brief, ‘
the art of trust’, judged by Christopher Ireland, will be announced tomorrow, Wednesday 23 March, so make sure you visit the
