Congrats to the Judge in this 1wall!  Eugene Tan actually picked finalists with shadows unlike past briefs where the judges seemed to either forgot their own briefs or failed to understand it themselves.

There seemed to be a lot people in this brief that didn't know the difference between a shadow, a reflection and a silhouette.  A lot of people in 1Wall competition seem to try to justify their picture against the brief by it's comment/description rather than actually using a picture that fits the brief IMO.

So grats to the finalists and to the Judge!

(BTW, I didn't enter in this one this time and  typically missed out on a good Judge, Oh well) :)

So Eug picked a beach photo as the winner. How boringly predictable. The horizon isn't straight and her head shadow has been chopped, buy hey, it's a beach so it must win right?

How is that predictable ? Instead of being funny about it why not leave a comment with some constructive critiscism ? Photographs are meant to provoke an emotional response, maybe this one triggered something ? Did you enter anything?

My 2 cents.

Constructive criticism? Yeah, the horizon is not straight, and the shadow has been cropped.
