Hi everyone, I can't believe we are already in October. This month has been so busy it's flown by!
Two weeks ago we took a group of journalists to new and creative heights around Sydney to put our awesome new camera and printer gear through its paces. Products included the EOS 60D, PowerShot SX30 IS, IXUS 1000 HS and PIXMA MG8150. The results were amazing and it was inspiring to see how people apply the different features and creative effects to achieve their unique perspective.

We also kicked off the famous EOS Photo5 competition. 7,600 Photo5 boxes have now been distributed across Australia and New Zealand. After the success of last year, I can't wait to see what entrants will come up with this time.
Good luck to all entrants and make sure you take note of the closing dates for each brief, for more information follow the link. For anyone who missed out on a Photo5 box, not to worry, you can still take part in the ‘Open Brief'.
Registration for the Open Brief is now open and continues until the 21 October. This year's ‘Open Brief' is called ‘Inspired by Sound', a brief that will take your senses to a whole new level.
The highlight of this month was our collaboration with Andrew Günsberg for his '365’ days project. Most people know Andrew from Australian Idol but he's a great photographer as well!
Andrew did an amazing job of this exhibition. I found it fascinating to see how his creative and photographic skills transformed over the year and how he became more adventurous with his photography.
Check out some of Andrew’s work at http://andrewgunsberg.com/family-photo-martgallery,
and be inspired to get adventurous with your photography.
