The Photo 5 site states that uploading of images is to commence from 17 Oct 2010.  Today is 21 Sep 2010, and NOBODY I know who has registered has received their boxes (only a few in NZ!).  

My mail-man has been today, no box, so here's hoping for tomorrow.

This leaves only 27 days to absorb the briefs, have a few trails, and actually shoot the image(s).  Most of us participating actually work for a living, leaving only after hours and 3 weekends in which to achieve this aim.

It would greatly assist if the organisers could post the detailed briefs to the Photo 5 website in order that we can get to work in advance of receiving the boxes.  

At least we can then spend the bosses time thinking of concepts to shoot next week-end ....

The boxes should be coming out to everyone very shortly, as you can imagine there are a lot of people to reach and they are working very hard at getting them out quickly.

In the meantime the briefs will go live on the EOS Photo5 site on Friday. So you can start getting to work on your creative concepts.

Until then the 'Open Brief' is already up on the website, so you can start working on this one.

I cannot believe how many people are yet to receive their boxes (me included).  Considering the deadline for uploading is from the 17th-21 of October, that doesn't give us very long does it??  Last year I recall having a good week to complete each brief but this year less than 3 weeks - not good enough IMO

1 October and still no box here either, getting a little concerned. What happens in the event that it doesn't arrive in time? Can we go out and purchase replacement items for use in our pics? I have all my ideas sorted, just need that little box...
