Is this a photography competition, or a popularity contest? Since there is no judging, the winner is decided solely on the number of "friends" they have, and how well they can promote their own image. I predict blurry, very poorly composed shots will do much better than sharp, well lit and properly composed photos. After all, it's not about the photography, it's all about being popular.

Hi Robert,

Thanks for your feedback on the voting mechanics. Allowing the community to decide a winner for this competition gives a chance for fans and enthusiasts to tell us what they think stands out, while the other two competitions on the Facebook page (World Press Photo and Photos 1440) have judges choice winners in addition to public voting. I hope this helps!

Hi Leigh,

I would suggest giving Canon Customer Service a call. They should be able to tell you where you will be able to find a battery pack. Their number is: 13 13 83. Hope this helps.

It is a "festival of how many friends you have on facebook" and absolutely nothing to do with photography or image making.
