Michael from Craving Tech has been using the EOS 500D for a few months now to take photos of all the tech products he reviews on his blog. Now he has written a review of the camera itself and concludes that he is “totally sold”. The EOS 500D is the first DSLR Michael has used and he says that it is perfect for beginners.

The things that Michael likes about the EOS 500D include the LCD screen, its size and weight, quick start-up time, great image quality even in low light conditions, handy shortcut buttons, fast continuous shooting and HD video recording (just to name a few!).

Just for your information, the EOS 500D was released last year and there is now a newer model in the entry-level range – the EOS 550D. However, the 500D is still available in stores.
