Hi everyone,
I wanted to share with you Camilla Lundbak’s (winner of the World of EOS Photochains competition) images from her trip to the south of the South Island with Tourism NZ. They are taken of the stunning landscape and unique wildlife in New Zealand’s Dunedin, Stewart Island and Milford Sound. All images were taken using the Canon EOS 550D and 500D digital SLRs. Lenses used include the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS; EF 50mm f/1.8 II; and the 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM.
When we chatted to Camilla she mentioned that the EF 70-300mm lens was a real treasure find and an excellent match for her to develop as a photographer. She said that it’s absolutely perfect for her style (she merges features of art and landscape photography); that it’s easy to use and light-weight which is great for her handheld shooting; and that it has beautiful panning abilities.
Here are two of my favourites – the first is taken of St Clair Beach in Dunedin and the second of the beautiful Milford Sound. You can check out more of her shots on the EOS Facebook page.

I also wanted to share with you some fantastic photos taken recently by V8 Supercars’ Official Photographer and EOS Master, Mark Horsburgh, on the EOS 1D Mark IV digital SLR. Mark raves about the camera and its low light capabilities, telling us he thinks it sets the benchmark for 35mm pro cameras. You can read more about what he has to say and see all of his photos on the EOS Pro Photography site.

That’s all from me for now. Stay tuned as I’ll be back next month with information about some cool photography events that EOS is sponsoring!
