Hi everyone. You may remember last year that Canon EOS reached out to Australian bloggers who showed an interest in photography and sent them Canon's entry-level EOS 1000D to trial. We received feedback that their reviews of the camera were really useful so we are kicking this program off again, this time with Canon’s latest digital SLR the EOS 500D.
The EOS 500D is Canon's first entry-level DSLR camera to include Full High Definition movie recording which means there are no restrictions on how creative you can get with this camera! Positioned between the highly acclaimed EOS 450D and 40D, the EOS 500D is perfect for DSLR users wishing to upgrade, or for first-time DSLR users looking for a camera that they can grow into.
Some of the bloggers who will be trialing the EOS 500D are Jen Leheny from Red Instead, Tracey Sargent from Quiet Paws and Fern Treacy from Not Nigella.
We look forward to hearing what they think of the camera and if they blog about it, we'll be sure to let you know.
Just some background on this program - The bloggers may like to share their experiences of the camera on their blogs, but are in no way obligated to do anything at all. If they do mention Canon we have asked that they disclose to their blog readers that Canon Australia sent them a camera to try out. Simple as that.
