Reverend Timothy has now had the chance to play with the Canon EOS 1000D and shares his thoughts in a couple of different blog posts.

In a post about his friend's party, Timothy shares his first experiences with the camera. He decided not to use the flash in an effort to acheive more realistic lighting and was pleasantly surprised at the image quality.

Timothy also put the camera to the test when recently doing some practice shots for his Canon Photo5 competition entries. He compares the EOS 1000D to his EOS 450D and concludes that they're really similar in terms of usability and manual control. He's really impressed with the manual mode capabilities of the 1000D.
